Buy Reinstated Facebook Pages

Buy reinstated Facebook pages — get a fan page from which Meta has already lifted an advertising restriction: the ban was imposed and removed. That is a fact of the page's history, not protection against the next restriction, so check its current status after the transfer. The listing states the creation years, whether the name can be changed and that the previous admin is removed. For comparison with other formats — pages with followers, pages without followers and verified pages. Listings come from vetted sellers; the transfer takes from 5 minutes to 24 hours, and a replacement is due if the page was blocked before the purchase or access fails through the seller's fault. Reinstated Facebook Pages: What the Mark Means, Status Checks and the Guarantee

Table of Contents

A reinstated Facebook page is a fan page that Meta once restricted from advertising and later cleared. These pages are listed in the Facebook advertising assets catalog; they are sold by vetted sellers on the marketplace, which does not produce pages itself. The mark in the listing title describes the page's past, and how you read it shapes what to expect after purchase. How fan pages work in general and how their types differ are covered on the Facebook fan pages section page.

The Page-level advertising restriction and its removal

What Meta's help says about this restriction

Meta's Business Help Centre breaks advertising restrictions down by level, and the Page is a level of its own. The wording is short: if restricted, your Page isn't allowed to advertise. The same article notes that every advertiser needs a Facebook Page before they can advertise. So a restricted Page is useless for ads even when the ad account and the profile are in good standing.

The Page Status article describes a related effect: multiple violations may lead to restrictions, for example no longer being able to create ads. Russian-speaking buyers call this state ZRD, short for "advertising activity ban"; the English listing calls a page that went through it and came out the other side Reinstated. This is a restriction on advertising specifically: the help text separates it from a Page being unpublished, which is another possible outcome of violations. Meta lists the causes in general terms: breaking the Community Standards, the Advertising Standards or other policies, a suspected hack, unusual account or payment activity. The listing does not say which of them applied to a particular page.

A lifted restriction is not immunity

The card puts it this way: the restriction was imposed and lifted. That is the seller's statement about the page's history. The card does not specify how the restriction was lifted, for example through a review request or after Meta finished investigating unusual activity. According to Meta's help, a review ends in one of two ways: the restrictions stay in place, or they are removed and the account is reinstated. The help describes no special status for reinstated pages, and no leniency in how their ads are reviewed.

So the mark does not protect against the next restriction. Meta's rules apply to such a page in full: per the help, severe or repeated violations can get a Page restricted, unpublished or taken down. Neither the card nor the help says directly whether the past restriction counts in later decisions. Meta's industry-specific policies, for online gambling, dating, cryptocurrency and other categories, also apply to ads regardless of the page's past. Nor does the mark confirm that a name or brand is authentic: that is what verified Facebook pages are for, since their status is confirmed separately.

The Reinstated mark answers one question: did the page have an advertising restriction, and was it lifted. It does not answer how Meta will treat your next campaign; that depends on your ads, on the state of your whole ad setup and on what is already on the page's record.

The section's listings in one table

The listings in this section differ in the page's creation year; the other card fields match. Field names below are as they appear in the cards.

The page name and administrator fields only get a mention here: what stays with a page after a rename and how the handover of rights works are covered in detail in the Facebook pages with followers section. For a reinstated page, one consequence matters: after the transfer you are its sole administrator, which means checking its status and any contact with Meta is now on you.

How to check the page's status after the handover

You know the restriction history from the seller's word, but you can check the page's current state yourself as soon as it is under your control. Meta has two official places for this, and they show different things: Page status shows violations and their consequences for content, while Meta Business Support Home shows advertising restrictions.

The Page status section in settings

The path from Facebook Help: click your profile photo in the top right, choose See all profiles and switch into the page. Then click the page's own profile picture, open Settings & privacy, then Settings, and in the left menu choose Page setup, then Page status. Anyone with Facebook access to the Page can open this section. What it shows:

  • recent Community Standards violations and a summary of their types;
  • content rated by third-party fact-checkers or identified as clickbait;
  • intellectual property rights violations and event take-downs;
  • posts that are not eligible for suggestions;
  • how violations affect content distribution and whether the page risks being unpublished.

The section also lists violations caused by other people with access to the page, along with who posted the content. After a change of owner, this is the first place to look: it shows which recent violations are on the page's record.

Meta states it plainly: Page status does not include every violation, and some, such as violations of the Page policies, may not show there yet. An empty section is a good sign, not a guarantee that nothing is on the page's record.

Meta Business Support Home

Advertising restrictions show up in Meta Business Support Home. According to the help, it lets you review the status of business portfolios, ad accounts, catalogues and Pages, and learn what you can do if an asset has been disabled or restricted. The sequence: open Business Support Home, go to Account status overview, find Recent account issues and open the Outstanding tab, which lists current issues and the actions available.

The Resolved tab shows closed issues for the period selected in the calendar in the top right. The calendar only covers recent dates, so an old lifted restriction may not appear there, and that does not contradict the mark in the listing. The tab that matters most is Outstanding: the past restriction remains the seller's information, while the absence of active issues on the page is something you see with your own eyes.

The check result and your next step

The point of the check is to record the page's state at the moment you receive it. Take screenshots of both sections with the date visible: if something goes wrong, the dispute is settled by facts, not by recollection.

What you seeWhat it meansWhat to do
No issues for the page under Outstanding, no recent violations in Page statusMeta shows no active restrictions on the pageSave the screenshots and connect the page to your ad setup
Outstanding shows an advertising restriction on the pageThe page cannot advertise right nowLaunch nothing and contact marketplace support with the screenshots right away
Page status shows recent violations, but there is no advertising restrictionPer the help, multiple violations may lead to restrictions, including losing the ability to create adsFind out which content caused them before you run ads
You cannot switch into the page, no accessThe transfer is not finished or has failedCheck the time frame in the card; if it has passed, contact support

An ad on Meta does not run from a page alone; it runs from a setup: the advertiser's personal profile, the ad account, often a business portfolio (still widely called a BM) and the page the ad is published under. A restriction can sit on any link, and a lifted restriction on the page applies to the page only.

Where else Meta can restrict advertising

Meta's Business Help Centre lists the levels at which restrictions for policy violations apply, each with its own consequence:

LevelWhat a restriction means per Meta's helpDoes the page's lifted restriction affect it
PageThe Page isn't allowed to advertiseThis is the restriction the page had, now lifted
Ad accountThe ad account, its ads and some of its advertising assets are disabledNo: the account has its own status
Personal profileThe person can't advertise or create new adsNo: the profile is assessed separately
Business portfolioThe portfolio isn't allowed to advertiseNo: the portfolio has its own status

Separately, Meta may temporarily limit features while it investigates unusual activity, and the help names the Page among the assets this can apply to.

Why a lifted restriction on the page does not fix an ad account or BM

If an ad will not launch, first find out at which level the restriction sits: your assets' statuses are collected in the same Account status overview. A page with a clean current status will not rescue an ad account with an active restriction, and a profile restricted from advertising cannot create ads with any page. Every link is checked on its own, and the page's lifted restriction does not cover any of them. The missing links, such as ad accounts, profiles and BMs, can be found in the Facebook section of the catalog.

Creation year and the restriction history

The creation year is the only field in which the section's listings differ: 2021–2022 or 2023–2024. The cards specify that page age varies within the range, so each page has its own exact creation date. For a reinstated page, what matters is not age as such, but how it relates to the restriction history.

The year does not show when the restriction happened

The creation year is the page's birth date, not the date of the restriction. A 2021–2022 page could have been restricted and cleared in its first months or recently; the same goes for 2023–2024. The card gives neither the restriction date, nor the date it was lifted, nor the reason. So the range tells you nothing about how long ago the restriction was closed out, let alone that an older page is somehow sturdier.

Meta's help is silent on page age

Meta's help on advertising restrictions does not mention Page age, either as a cause of restrictions or as protection from them. A long history gives you something else: more time in which something could have happened to the page, and more events the card does not tell you about. The practical takeaway applies to any page in the section: read Page status, which shows recent violations, while older history is shown neither there nor in the card. Choosing between the ranges means choosing the creation year your task needs, not a level of reliability. If the lifted-restriction mark does not matter to you and you simply need a page for ads, compare with fan pages without followers, which come with a different set of parameters.

Page transfer: from 5 minutes to 24 hours

The transfer time in the cards is the same: from 5 minutes to 24 hours. Express transfer is discussed with the support team separately. The page is delivered as a link, and after the transfer you become its sole administrator: the original administrator is removed.

What happens during the transfer window

Until the transfer is complete, the page stays under the seller's control, and you cannot inspect it from the inside yet: neither Page status nor Business Support Home will show it among your assets. The time frame is a range, so plan around the upper bound, not the lower one, and do not schedule a campaign launch for the same hour as the purchase. If your launch is tied to a specific hour, ask support about express transfer: per the card, it is discussed with them separately.

Useful steps while the transfer is under way

  • Save the page link from your order: you will use it to confirm that you received access to that exact page.
  • Check your own profile, ad account and BM in Meta Business Support Home: a lifted restriction on the page will not cancel restrictions on them.
  • Make sure the profile that will receive the page meets Meta's two-factor authentication requirements: per the help, not meeting them is one of the causes of advertising restrictions.
  • If the time frame in the card has passed and you still have no access, contact marketplace support with your order details.

The order of checks before you run ads

Once access has transferred, do not rush into Ads Manager. First run a short check in this order:

The guarantee and a repeat restriction

The guarantee terms are the same across the cards in this section. Under the marketplace's general terms, a successful page transfer is guaranteed for fan pages, and the details are set out in each product's card.

When a replacement is provided

SituationReplacement
Access problems with the page due to the seller's faultYes
The page was banned before the moment of purchaseYes
The ban occurred after purchase, for any reasonNo
The ban resulted from payment system checksNo
The ban occurred as a result of attempts to bypass platform rulesNo

What the guarantee terms mean in practice

For a ban, the line is the moment of purchase: a page banned before it is subject to replacement, one banned after it is not, and the card stresses: for any reason. Access problems caused by the seller are covered by a separate clause. If something happens to the page between payment and a completed transfer, do not interpret the terms yourself: contact support right away, and the decision will be made under the card's terms.

That leads to a few practical conclusions. Run the check right after you get access: the guarantee period is limited, so confirm it with support. Dated screenshots taken during your first check are your main evidence on whether something happened before the purchase. The card speaks of a ban; if after receiving access you see an active advertising restriction, do not wait, report it to support with screenshots. Bans resulting from payment system checks and from attempts to bypass platform rules are excluded as separate items, so those risks stay with the buyer.

If the restriction comes back: the official route

If the page is restricted from advertising again after purchase, the only way forward is the official one. The review request sequence per Meta's Business Help Centre:

  • open Meta Business Support Home and select Account status overview in the left menu;
  • select the restricted page;
  • in the What you can do section, select Request review;
  • complete the on-screen steps.

The steps under What you can do depend on the restriction type and stage: Meta may ask you to confirm your identity, complete verification, secure your account or request a review. Only an admin can request a review, and after the transfer that is you. If the cause is a Community Standards violation listed in Page status, the violation has a See details button: depending on the type, you can accept the decision or request a review there. If you disagree with limits placed on the Page itself, Facebook Help suggests going to the Page and clicking Appeal at the top. If a restriction is lifted, ads that were running before it will not restart on their own: you turn them back on in Meta Ads Manager. Emails, text messages and calls from people claiming to be Meta staff about problems with your business accounts should be checked in the same Business Support Home, which the help explicitly names as the place to confirm such messages.

Meta allows only a limited number of advertising restriction review requests, and once a review is complete, the decision is final. Request a review if you believe the restriction was applied by mistake. And no attempts to get around the rules: a ban for that reason is explicitly excluded from the guarantee.

If your task calls for a fan page with a different set of parameters, whether with an audience, without followers or with a confirmed status, compare the types in the Facebook fan pages catalog.

FAQ

  • What does the Reinstated mark in a listing title tell me?

    +

    That Meta once restricted the page from advertising, so the page could not run ads, and later lifted the restriction. It is the seller's statement about the page's history, not a forecast: the card does not say how or when the restriction was lifted, and Meta's help describes no special status for reinstated pages. You check the current state yourself after the transfer, in Page status and in Meta Business Support Home.

  • Does a lifted restriction protect the page from a new one?

    +

    No. Meta's rules apply to such a page in full: the mark grants no immunity, no leniency in ad review and no exemption from industry-specific policies. Per the help, severe or repeated violations can get a Page restricted, unpublished or taken down, and it does not say directly whether a past restriction counts. How Meta treats your next campaign depends on your ads and on the state of your whole ad setup.

  • Where can I check whether the page is restricted right now?

    +

    Check advertising restrictions in Meta Business Support Home: Account status overview, Outstanding tab. Page status shows recent violations: See all profiles, switch into the page, click the page's profile picture, then Settings & privacy, Settings, Page setup and Page status. Keep in mind that, by Meta's own account, this section does not show every violation.

  • Why won't ads launch if the page has no restrictions?

    +

    The restriction may sit on another link of your setup. Per Meta's help, advertising restrictions apply to the ad account, the personal profile and the business portfolio separately from the Page, and a profile with such a restriction cannot create ads with any page. Open Account status overview in Meta Business Support Home and find the asset with the issue: the page's lifted restriction has no effect on it.

  • How do the 2021–2022 listings differ from the 2023–2024 ones?

    +

    Only in the page's creation year; page age varies within the range. The other card fields match: reinstatement passed, name changeable, administrator removed after transfer, transfer time from 5 minutes to 24 hours, delivery as a page link, identical guarantee terms. The creation year does not show when the page was restricted or cleared, and Meta's help does not name page age as protection from restrictions. Choose by the creation year your task needs.

  • How long does the page transfer take after purchase?

    +

    Per the card, from 5 minutes to 24 hours. Express transfer is discussed with the support team separately: if your launch is tied to a specific time, ask support about it. The page is delivered as a link, and after the transfer you become its sole administrator. If the time frame in the card has passed and you still have no access, contact marketplace support with your order details.

  • What if the page shows an active restriction after the transfer?

    +

    Launch nothing and contact marketplace support right away with dated screenshots of Page status and of the Outstanding tab in Meta Business Support Home. The card provides a replacement if the page was banned before the moment of purchase or if there are access problems due to the seller's fault; support decides how a specific case qualifies under the card's terms. Do not try to lift the restriction by getting around Meta's rules: a ban caused by such attempts is excluded from the guarantee.

  • When is a replacement for the page provided?

    +

    Under the card's terms, a replacement is provided if there are access problems with the page due to the seller's fault or if the page was banned before the moment of purchase. Under the marketplace's general terms, a successful transfer is also guaranteed for fan pages. The guarantee period is limited, so confirm it with support, check the page right after you get access and keep dated screenshots of Page status and Business Support Home.

  • When is no replacement provided?

    +

    If the ban occurred after purchase for any reason, if it resulted from payment system checks, or if it followed attempts to bypass platform rules. For a ban, the line is the moment of purchase: a page banned after it is not replaced, whatever the reason. So before connecting the page to your ads, make sure there are no restrictions, and do not try to get around Meta's rules.

  • What should I do if the page is restricted from advertising again?

    +

    Take the official route. In Meta Business Support Home, open Account status overview, select the page and check the What you can do section: it may offer a review request, identity confirmation or verification. Only an admin can request a review, and after the transfer that is you. The number of review requests is limited, and Meta calls the decision after a review final. If the restriction is lifted, turn your earlier ads back on manually in Ads Manager.
