Table of Contents
A regular Reddit account is a profile with no earned karma. You do not buy it for a rating or for an activity history; you buy it as a starting point from which you decide how to run the account. That is where the similarity between the lots on this shelf ends. Beyond it, they differ on the features worth comparing: registration method, registration geo, email status, how filled the profile is and the delivery format. One condition is worth knowing before you pay: blocks after the first login are not replaced on any lot, and on some lots the warranty explicitly ends at login. Below, each feature is broken down from the cards and Reddit's help, followed by the order of actions around the first login. An overview of every profile type is in the Reddit accounts section.
What the lots on this shelf share and where they differ
There is one common denominator: no earned karma. The titles show "1 Karma" or do not mention karma at all. Everything else is described differently by each seller, so it is easier to compare lots by card fields than by titles. The table holds only card fields and delivery formats, without the promotional wording; warranty terms are in the first-login section. For a rating, for account age as the main parameter or for an ad account, go to the neighbouring sections; for running campaigns there are Reddit ads accounts.
The shelf's lots side by side
| Lot | Registration | Registration geo | Email | Profile | Delivery format |
|---|
| "Reddit account Β· 1 Karma Β· 2023-2026" | autoreg | Registration IP: USA GEO | not mentioned on the card | not described on the card | User|Pass |
| "MIX GEO Β· Created in 2016 Β· 1 Karma" | method not stated | MIX GEO | not confirmed; you link your own | completely blank | Login:Password |
| "2024 Β· GEO Ukraine" | autoreg | Ukraine | mail.tm, confirmed, included | empty; gender female or not selected | Login|Password|Email|EmailPassword|Username |
| "United Kingdom Β· 90+ Days" | autoreg | United Kingdom: registration country and IP | verified, access included | partially filled; real names; gender male or female | login:password:email:email password |
Autoreg ("auto-registered" or "autoreg" on the cards) means the account was registered automatically, not by hand and not by a previous owner for their own use. The Ukraine card adds that accounts are checked for validity before upload. The 2016 lot does not state a registration method. The USA GEO card says nothing about email, and the User|Pass format carries none, so assume you will not get a mailbox.
"Regular" does not mean "fresh"
The dates in the lot titles differ: created in 2016, registered in 2024, account age 90+ days. So you cannot read the shelf as a set of just-created profiles β the registrations here span different years. You will see the exact creation date of a particular account on its profile after login; more on that below.
That said, age on this shelf is a side parameter, not what unites the lots. What unites them is the absence of earned karma. If your task needs account age specifically, there is a separate shelf for that β aged Reddit accounts, where age is the main parameter.
"1 Karma": what the starting value means
The "1 Karma" in a lot title is the first thing that catches the eye on this shelf, and it is easy to misread. It is not a penalty and not a sign of a "bad" account; it is the starting mark of a profile that has not yet received any noticeable response to posts and comments.
How Reddit counts karma
According to Reddit's help, karma reflects the upvotes and downvotes your posts and comments receive: the more upvotes, the higher the karma. Reddit notes that it is an approximate reflection rather than an exact count of votes.
These lots come with no karma built in; it will appear only from people's response to what you publish. If your task needs a rating from the start, look at Reddit accounts with karma, where the rating is already there.
Who limits low-karma profiles, and why
Posting thresholds are set not by Reddit as a whole but by the moderators of each community. Reddit's help lists possible reasons a post will not go through: account age, karma restrictions and not having a verified email address. Reddit does not disclose the specific thresholds β per the help, to deter misuse. The purpose of the thresholds is to keep spam out, so in some communities the karma threshold will not stop a profile with a single karma point, while in others such a profile will hit the filter.
Besides thresholds, moderators have tools that hold back content from unestablished accounts. Crowd Control at its high filtering level collapses comments from new accounts or sends them to moderators for review. The reputation filter relies on the Contributor Quality Score β an assessment that, per the help, draws on karma, email verification, past actions on the account, and network and location signals.
Where to see which condition you miss
If a community requires minimum karma, account age or a verified email and you fall short, Reddit shows the Poster Eligibility Guide when you try to create a post β a window showing which of these criteria you meet and which you do not. It does not name exact thresholds, but it shows where to look. There is also a rate limit: new users with little karma see the "Youβre doing that too much" message more often, because Reddit limits how often you can post and comment in a community.
A single karma point does not block an account. It means communities with a karma threshold are closed to your posts for now. Read a community's rules before your first post, not after a removal.
Email across the lots: from "link your own" to mail.tm
On Reddit, email is not a formality but the channel for recovering access. What the card says about email decides what you do first after login.
Why the mailbox decides who keeps access
Reddit's help says it plainly: the password reset link goes to the email attached to the account. With no email and a forgotten password, access is lost, and Reddit cannot help. For a purchased account the second scenario matters more: if Reddit detects technical irregularities, it may lock the account as a security precaution and ask you to reset the password. Such a lock is lifted through email. If the address on the account is out of date, Reddit states outright that it will not be able to help.
| Lot | Email per the card | What is delivered | First action |
|---|
| USA GEO, "1 Karma Β· 2023-2026" | not mentioned | User|Pass only | after login, check the email settings and add your own |
| MIX GEO, 2016 | not confirmed, "Email Bind Available" | Login:Password only | check in the settings whether an address is set, then put your own and verify it |
| Ukraine, 2024 | mail.tm, confirmed | address and email password | open the mailbox before logging in to Reddit, then decide whether to switch to a permanent one |
| United Kingdom, 90+ days | verified | address and email password | check mailbox access right after delivery |
The 2016 lot: you attach the mailbox yourself
The card says it directly: emails are not confirmed, and you can link your own. The format is Login:Password, with no mailbox included. You add an address in the account settings, after which Reddit sends a link to verify it. A verified email matters beyond recovery: the help lists it among the criteria communities can require for posting, and the Contributor Quality Score counts it as a step to secure the account. Keep the card's caveat in mind: if Reddit itself asks for email verification at login, that is an "additional Reddit verification check", and it does not qualify for replacement. The USA GEO lot looks similar: there is no email in the format, so after login check in the settings whether any address is attached, and put your own in place.
mail.tm: what the service says about itself
The Ukraine lot from 2024 comes with a verified email on mail.tm. It is a temporary email service: its own site describes it as a disposable mailbox with no registration. Per its FAQ, a mailbox stays valid until it is deleted manually. Incoming messages are stored for a limited time only. You cannot send email from it. The service cannot reset a forgotten password β the password is generated in the browser and stored encrypted.
Such a mailbox can receive a message from Reddit, including a password reset link. The weak spot lies elsewhere: you receive the mailbox password from the seller, so you are not the only one who knows it, and a lost password cannot be recovered. For long-term ownership, that is an argument for replacing the address on the account with your own permanent one. Reddit's help lists "trusted" email domains β gmail, apple, hotmail, outlook, yahoo β and calls verifying an email on such a domain when you create an account one of the signals of good faith. mail.tm is not on that list, although Reddit notes that other domains are fine too.
The United Kingdom lot: mailbox access handed over with the account
The United Kingdom lot, 90+ days, is email-verified, mailbox access is part of the kit, and the format is login:password:email:email password. The card does not name the email provider. Its replacement terms mention invalid login and password at the time of delivery; there is no separate item about the email. So check mailbox access right after delivery, before you log in to Reddit, and report any problem to support without delay. Whether to change the password and email later is the buyer's call: the cards place post-purchase actions in the buyer's area of responsibility. Just keep in mind that both the Reddit password and the mailbox password came from the seller.
Registration geo and a consistent login
The geo on a card is the country the account was registered from: the USA and United Kingdom cards state the registration IP explicitly. Reddit does take network signals into account: its help on the Contributor Quality Score explicitly names network and location signals. Reddit does not disclose what it counts as a "technical irregularity", so it is sensible not to create extra reasons: one country, one proxy, one environment from login to login.
From USA GEO to MIX GEO
| Lot | Geo per the card | What to prepare for login |
|---|
| "1 Karma Β· 2023-2026" | Registration IP: USA GEO | a USA proxy |
| 2016 | MIX GEO β the country of a given account is not stated | before login, ask support whether the country is known |
| 2024 | Registration geo: Ukraine | a Ukraine proxy |
| 90+ days | Registration country and IP: United Kingdom | a private United Kingdom proxy, one per account, as the card asks |
MIX GEO means the registration countries in the batch vary, and the card does not state the country for a given account. If the country matters for your task, ask support before login whether it is known. If it is not, pick one country and stay with it for every later login; the risk of a mismatch with the original geo then stays with you.
Residential IP or mobile proxy, preferably private
A residential IP or a mobile proxy in the right country is suitable for login β an address that looks like an ordinary home or mobile connection. A private proxy is better: other people use a shared address, and you do not control what they do with it. The United Kingdom card explicitly asks you to use only private proxies, one per account. Add a separate profile in an antidetect browser to the proxy, so that this account's data β cookies and browser fingerprint β is kept apart from your main browser. The marketplace's support helps with choosing proxies and software.
The line a proxy does not move
A separate proxy and a separate browser profile are access hygiene, not permission for what Reddit's rules prohibit. Voting with several accounts on the same posts or comments is vote manipulation. Returning to a community on another account after a ban is ban evasion. Repeated mass actions and unsolicited messaging count as spam under Reddit's rules. A block for any of these after login is not covered by replacement.
Reddit's rules are the same for any account, bought or registered by you. A community's rules on self-promotion, posting frequency or topic matter more than any login technique: moderators decide what counts as spam in their community.
The profile: empty, partially filled and what you can change
Profile fill is another field where the lots diverge. What matters here is knowing which of the stated things you can change and which will stay with the account for good.
Empty profiles and profiles with real names
The 2016 lot is described as completely blank, the Ukraine lot as empty, with no additional profile content. The Ukraine card states separately that lack of profile content is not grounds for replacement, since the accounts are listed as empty. An empty profile is a clean slate: bio, avatar, banner, display name and social links are yours to set in the profile settings. The USA GEO card does not describe the profile β see what is there after login.
Of the lots on this shelf, only the United Kingdom one states a partially filled profile: the card lists real names and gender "male or female". It does not list which fields besides the name are filled, so after login open the profile and compare it with the description. If the "real name" sits in the display name, you can change it in the profile settings. If it is part of the username, you cannot: on Reddit a username cannot be changed in any way once finalized, not even its capitalization.
Gender and username: what changes and what does not
| Element | Can you change it? | Where, and what to keep in mind |
|---|
| Username | no | fixed at creation; the Ukraine lot delivers it as a separate Username field |
| Display name, bio, avatar, banner | yes | profile settings |
| Gender | yes | account settings; Reddit uses it to personalize ads |
| Email | yes | account settings; on reddit.com you replace it with a new address |
| Password | yes | a password reset via email logs you out on all devices |
| Two-factor authentication | can be enabled | only in a desktop web browser, with an authenticator app; save the backup codes right away |
Gender on the cards is a reference parameter: "female / not selected" for the Ukraine lot, "male / female" for the United Kingdom lot. The Ukraine card explicitly excludes from the warranty any mismatch with gender expectations if the listing states female / not selected. If gender matters for your task, check it in the account settings right after login.
What the first login after purchase decides
Under the card terms, replacement concerns the account's state at purchase and delivery: invalid credentials, a block before purchase, no access; the 2016 lot and the Ukraine lot explicitly mention access before the first login. After the first login, blocks and restrictions are not covered on any lot, and the warranty period itself is short β so log in right after delivery. The USA GEO card puts it briefly: the warranty expires after login.
| Format | Lot | What the string contains |
|---|
| User|Pass | USA GEO | Reddit username and password |
| Login:Password | MIX GEO, 2016 | Reddit login and password, no email |
| Login|Password|Email|EmailPassword|Username | Ukraine, 2024 | Reddit login and password, mail.tm address, mailbox password, username |
| login:password:email:email password | United Kingdom, 90+ days | Reddit login and password, email address and its password |
The separators differ β a vertical bar or a colon. Before logging in, split the string into fields: an extra space or separator character in the password produces an error that is easy to mistake for invalid credentials. Only the Ukraine lot delivers the username as a field separate from the login; in the User|Pass format the username is the first field, and on the other lots check it on the profile after login.
What replacement covers and what it does not
| Lot | Replacement if | No replacement |
|---|
| USA GEO | incorrect password or account blocked before purchase | any account blocking after signing in; warranty expired after login |
| MIX GEO, 2016 | no access before first login; credentials invalid at delivery | any suspension or restriction after login; additional Reddit verification checks (captcha, email verification); user actions after purchase |
| Ukraine, 2024 | no account access before the first login; login, password, mail.tm email or email password invalid at the moment of delivery; email not confirmed; mismatch with the stated parameters or format | any blocks or restrictions after login; captcha, email, phone and identity verification; changing data, password or email; mass activity; mismatch of gender expectations; lack of profile content |
| United Kingdom, 90+ days | account inaccessible or blocked prior to purchase due to issues on the seller's side; credentials invalid at the time of delivery | any block occurring after login for any reason; restrictions resulting from buyer's actions or platform policy |
A captcha, a request to verify email or phone, a restriction or a block after the first login is, under the card terms, no longer a warranty case, whichever lot you choose.
These lots are put up by marketplace sellers, and each sets its own replacement terms; the platform makes sure they are honoured. Neither the seller nor the platform influences what Reddit does after login. So platform sanctions after login remain the buyer's risk.
What must be ready before you log in
- The proxy for the registration country is connected and tested: an IP lookup service shows the right country.
- A separate antidetect browser profile is set up for this account and runs through that proxy.
- The delivery string is split into fields according to the lot's format.
- For lots with email, you have logged in to the mailbox first: this check does not touch Reddit, and for the Ukraine lot an invalid email is part of the replacement terms.
- Your own permanent mailbox for linking is set up in advance, so you do not create it in a hurry after login.
- The login is scheduled right after delivery: the warranty period is short.
The order of checks inside the account
- The login went through without additional checks β or note which checks Reddit asked for.
- Reddit Age on the profile card: on desktop, hovering shows the creation date β compare it with the registration year in the lot title (2016 or 2024) or, for the United Kingdom lot, with the 90+ days age.
- Karma shows the same starting value as the title, if the lot stated one.
- The profile and gender match the description: empty or partially filled.
- The account settings show whether an email is attached and whether it is verified.
- Then security: your own verified email, a new password, two-factor authentication with the backup codes saved β it can be enabled only in a desktop web browser.
If the parameters do not match the card, write to support at once: for the Ukraine lot, a mismatch with the stated parameters is explicitly listed as grounds for replacement. If the check shows your task needs a different type of profile, go back to the Reddit section and pick the shelf that fits it.
